Scrolls of Lore

Copied by hand, sealed without sigil, entrusted only to the faithful. These scrolls gather what must never be spoken aloud. They are not a chronicle for the curious, nor a catechism for the untested. They are fragments of memory, doctrine, failure, and resolve—set down so that the Order may endure even when voices fall silent and names are stripped away.Within these pages are preserved:The precepts of the Order, as they are lived rather than proclaimed. The virtues and trials by which Brothers and Sisters are weighed.Accounts of victories uncelebrated, and failures borne in obedience. The shadowed record of the Fallen, that their heresy not be forgotten nor misunderstood. The forms of prayer, litany, and rite, as passed from hand to hand, never from tongue to crowd.Know this, reader:What is written here is not law, but inheritance.
What is absent is so by design.
What is veiled is so by necessity.
The Order has no name in these pages, for a name invites possession.
The authors are unnamed, for pride corrodes truth.
The Light is invoked sparingly, for it answers discipline more readily than noise.
Guard these scrolls as you would guard your blade in the dark:
clean, ready, and unseen.
If you seek glory, close the parchment.
If you seek certainty, burn it.
If you seek purpose—
